About WINTERSTOMP

We’re scheming a winter celebration to stomp the puddles out of the February fields and to gather new and seasoned farmers and farm supporters for a mid-winter “break” and a lively celebration and community gathering in downtown Mount Vernon.

We’ll host a ‘local landscape’ inspired art exhibit in the Lincoln’s art gallery with warming beverages and (North Sound Brewing Co. beer!) available at the Lincoln bar.

There will be glorious old-time music from a few of our region’s many fine bands, including Skagit’s Spaghetti-Surf-Garage-A-Billy favorites SmokeWagon, Bellingham favorites The Gallus Brothers,  and  headliners Foghorn Stringband, out of Portland.

Interspersed with the music will be poetry readings from youth and adult contest winners of the Co-op’s WinterStomp Farms and Food Poetry Contest.

There may even be some fire dancing performances to welcome people to the festival!

We can’t wait! See you soon! Get tickets HERE!
